Duncan supports customers with a suite of leading-edge digital construction technologies – hardware, software and solutions – to help resolve the industry’s most challenging projects. Working closely with all parts of the AEC community, he works with a team supplying domain experience, technology insights and strategic oversight to support the delivery of major projects across the UK and beyond. Duncan is a chartered civil engineer and comes from a main contracting and design management background. He has been a strong advocate for standardised BIM processes and procedures for many years. He is the Regional Champion for the UK BIM Alliance in Yorkshire and Humberside and the chair of thinkBIM. He has presented at numerous UK and European events. He is a strong supporter of open data principles through the use of the BuildingSMART International Industry Foundation Class (IFC) data exchange standard.
