As a Senior Engineer within the Building Intelligence Team, Ivo endeavours to implement user-centric built environment designs through system integration, data acquisition and analytics, and innovation. His experience varies from heavy industrial engineering in the energy sector through to MEP consulting, and most recently, prior to joining Hoare Lea, a role as a Technical Sales Engineer at SSE. This encompassed working across the M&E contractual chain and varied end user customers to support their journey to Net Zero via a distributed energy approach, with core focus on Building Management Systems & Smart Buildings. Delivering user-centric buildings, not building-centric users, is at the core of Ivo’s Smart Building consulting approach, ensuring occupant wellbeing and comfort is at the forefront of the design. Ivo has advanced technical understanding and expertise of system integration across most common dynamic services within the building envelope, enabling his to advise clients on common practices in order to maximise on existing and newly proposed Smart Building technologies and approaches.
