Josie C-Thornewill
Josie is the Sustainability Director at Thakeham Homes, an SME based in the South East recently recognised as Number 1 in the best company to work for in the Construction and Engineering sector. In January 2020, they announced commitments to Net Zero covering their whole impact including embodied carbon. This pioneering commitment is why Josie is also on a secondment to the Future Homes Hub as Head of Zero Carbon Placemaking and Nature, and why Josie are so well placed to represent industry action on embodied carbon.
