Pioneering innovation and experimentation on the FutureX digital disruptors stage at Futurebuild 2025

Are we genuinely embracing digital, or is it just another buzzword that promises much but delivers little? For many, digital transformation requires breaking free from traditional mindsets, fostering collaboration, and adopting a forward-thinking approach to embrace experimentation as a tool for growth.

These shifts in perspective unlock new possibilities, enhancing customer experiences, driving internal skills development, and catalysing business growth at all levels. At Futurebuild 2025, we invite you to go beyond the buzzwords and take meaningful action towards digital transformation.

FutureX Digital Disruptors

In 2025, we’re putting the spotlight on innovation and experimentation. The FutureX Digital Disruptors Stage is where you’ll find cutting-edge insights, industry exclusives, product launches, and bold initiatives. Here, visitors will learn how to harness the synergy of data, technology, and people to accelerate digital journeys, offering a new vision for growth.

What’s New for Digital Construction at Futurebuild 2025?

nima, the UK hub for information management within the built environment, will debut new features of the Information Management Initiative (IMI) at Futurebuild. This industry-led, government-supported program, developed in collaboration with the Construction Leadership Council (CLC) and AtkinsRealis, promises to revolutionise information management practices across the AEC sector.

The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) will unveil the latest version of its Client Guide, providing practical steps and value-driven strategies for achieving digital transformation across built assets.

Women in BIM will host an international panel exploring the transformative power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in construction. Speakers from across Europe will share insights into how AI is reshaping building processes with efficiency, precision, and innovation. This session promises to reveal both the current achievements and future potential of AI in the industry.

Digital 101: Building Strong Foundations

Not everyone is ready to leap into full-scale digital transformation. That’s why the Digital Disruptors Stage will feature Digital 101 sessions, offering foundational insights from leading experts, including:

  • Mark Enzer OBE (former Head of the National Digital Twin Programme)
  • Dan Rossiter (Built Environment Sector Lead at BSI)
  • Dr. Dean Douglas (Digital Twins specialist)
  • Jamie Johnson MBE (authority on Design for Manufacture and Assembly)

Expect thought-provoking discussions from leading voices like Sakshi Bansal (Arup), Diego Padilla-Philipps (WSP), David Philp (Cohesive), and Ciaran Garrick (Allies & Morrison). From ESG frameworks to AI-driven design, circular economies to net-zero solutions, these experts will challenge conventional thinking and inspire transformative action.
