Futurebuild’s Energy Impact Stage Takes the Lead in Low Carbon Transition

The focus of Futurebuild 2025 is on ‘making impact’ which means taking action today as if today is the 2050 we are planning for! On the Energy Impact Stage we are focusing on changing the way we use energy in our buildings.

The aim of the seminar sessions organised by our partners on the Energy Impact Stage is to explore the latest developments surrounding energy in construction. This stage delves into the latest policy and regulatory developments, low carbon heating technologies and systems that can drive real progress in our our decarbonisation journey.

Sponsored by Kensa, this stage is curated in collaboration with leading organisations including Bioregional, Thermal Storage UK, Energy Saving Trust, Ground Source Heat Pump Association, MCS, Sustainable Energy Association, UKDEA, and CIBSE.

Highlights include discussions on Heat Networks, and how to maximise the impact of heat pumps.  There will be insights into the ways that ground-based thermal energy can decarbonise energy systems and how intelligent building controls can meet legislative constraints and energy targets, without putting pressure on project budgets.

Visitors to the stage will hear from Abby Ward, Policy Manager at Energy Savings Trust; Simon Woodward, Chairman & Technical Director, UKDEA; John Christopher, DESNZ; David Lewis, Energy Managing Director, B&D; Iain Gordon

MD GES Digital & KNX UK Chair at GES Digital: Craig Dolan, Dimplex; Karen Spenley, Celcius Energy to name but a few.
