  •  Organisers hope to reduce number of plastic bottles on course by more than 215,000

  • The first ever Futurebuild has been hailed as a resounding success with 27,283 visitors joining the event to address the industry’s biggest challenges. Bringing together senior decision makers and innovators from across the built environment, the event furthered ecobuild’s legacy of fostering collaboration and enabling new business opportunities.

  • Futurebuild came to a close today with a resounding call for the built environment to make a real commitment to tackling the major environmental and societal issues facing us all, by moving beyond words and taking positive action. Across the three-day event, thousands of professionals came together to find collaborative and innovative solutions to meet the challenges facing the industry, both today and in the future.

  • With a firm focus on showcasing true innovation and tackling the biggest issues facing the industry head on, the first Futurebuild launched with a bang. Bringing together over 500 industry-leading brands and more than 600 inspiring speakers, the event opened with a programme of activity centred around supporting visitors to take action today to deliver a better tomorrow.
  • Following on from a successful opening, day two at Futurebuild 2019 continued in the same positive vein, with a record number of brands endorsing the event by rebooking for 2020. This show of support and investment affirms Futurebuild’s status as the home of innovation, bringing together hundreds of leading exhibitors offering solutions to help tackle the challenges facing the built environment.
  • Furthering its commitment to sustainability, Futurebuild’s Waste Zone will play host to over 50 international circular economy industry specialists, including the father of the Cradle to Cradle design concept, Prof. Dr. Michael Braungart, alongside other industry experts including Dr. Zoe Laughlin and Mark Miodownik from the Institute of Making, UCL.
