The Regenerative Architecture Index: Launched by Architecture Today and UK Architects Declare, the Regenerative Architecture Index (RAI) benchmarks practices’ progress in the move towards regenerative practice and projects. It recognises the need for a built environment that isn’t merely reducing its negative impacts, but has positive impacts for today and the long term.
Architecture Today is a widely respected publication known for outstanding design, authoritative writing and insightful analysis by high-profile architects and commentators. Launched in 1989 with the backing of 70 leading practices, it continues to be owned and run by a small, independent, highly committed team with deep roots in the architectural community.
UK Architects Declare is a network of architectural practices across the UK committed to addressing the climate and biodiversity emergency. It’s vision for our sector’s part in tackling the emergency is bold: “A built environment planned, constructed and operated within planetary boundaries to deliver environmental justice and to support the flourishing of all life for all time.”
