The Architects’ Journal has been a champion of the architectural profession in the UK since 1895. Our mission is to support architects in their day-to-day practice by bringing them up-to-the-minute news, industry insight and critical, highly technical building studies.

Our monthly magazine beautifully showcases recently completed buildings specially selected by our editors for publication. Each issue also features news themes, allowing us to explore topics in depth. The AJ website is the home of breaking news and is where our investigative journalism and campaigns shine.

The AJ also hosts a wide range of events each year, ranging from an online conference on building safety to the 20 plus buildings honoured at the AJ Architecture Awards. The AJ100 – an annual ranking of the UK’s biggest architecture practices – is known throughout the profession as a mark of business success.
