VEGA is an engineering company with extensive experience in LEED and WELL certifications, energy saving projects and improvement of people´s comfort, health and wellbeing in buildings.

VEGA and University of Valladolid have developed different patents related to energy efficiency and comfort, health and wellbeing of people in buildings.

For Futurebuild Expo 2020, VEGA presents for the first time, the VARIABLE FILTRATION PATENT, which saves energy and maintenance on "clean" days, and guaranties a healthy indoor environment even on the most polluted days, instead of using standard filtration which wastes energy and maintenance on "clean" days and does not guarantee a healthy indoor environment during polluted days.

  • VEGA www.vegaingenieria.com, together with the University of Valladolid www.uva.es, has developed a Variable Filtration Patent, which may improve energy efficiency, maintenance and indoor air quality for air conditioning equipment and energy efficiency, in a quite simple way, and we believe that this innovation may be perfect for AHUs and air conditioning installations in London and many other cities (Beijing, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Paris, Madrid...) with days of very different air quality.

  • VEGA carried out the LEED certification af the sustainability assessment of the highest scored LEED Platinum in Europe and third in the world: LUCIA Building, by University of Valladolid, achieved 98 LEED points (LEED Platinum is 80 points)

  • VEGA designed all the MEP installations and carried out the sustainability assesment of Rio Shoping, the most sustainable shopping centre in Spain owned by IKEA.
