13 May 2026
Placemaking Stage

This session will provide an overview of the London Green Infrastructure Framework (LGIF), a new strategic tool to help plan and prioritise investment in green infrastructure (GI) in London. It provides up-to-date London-wide spatial data and priority locations across a range of objectives that relate to the benefits of GI most relevant to London. Members of the GLA Green Infrastructure team who led the development of the tool with consultants LUC will lead this session. They will set out the context for why the LGIF was created, provide a demonstration of how it works and what it can be used for and describe examples of how it is being used in practice.
