Bespoke Site Visit of Tipping Point East: Newham's Circular Economy Construction Hub
Join us at Tipping Point East for an exclusive early morning site visit, getting an up-close look at a working circular construction hub in its early stages. Across an hour, representatives from the three founding organisations — Yes Make, RESOLVE Collective, and Material Cultures — will walk you through the site, including the material yard where reclaimed construction materials are sorted, graded, certified for reuse and redistributed back into the supply chain; the shared office fit-out designed and built entirely from reclaimed materials including structural CLT, reclaimed glazing, and biobased boards — delivered for £150,000; and Material Store, which is already receiving and redistributing materials salvaged from the arts and museum sector. With construction and demolition accounting for 62% of UK waste, TPE is building the infrastructure to make material reuse routine and commercially viable at scale. This is a chance to see that not as a concept but as a practical, working operation — and to meet the people making it happen.
