Despite the sound and fury of the culture warriors, dealing with the reality of climate change and working with nature is something we all need to be and will soon be doing. It will shortly become a political and economic imperative. Ipsos reports that 72% of the UK public are currently concerned about the impacts of climate change and want ‘strong action’ – a number that continues to grow, while the Office for Budget Responsibility numbers show that solar and wind are by far the most cost-effective forms of energy generation. How is the sector responding to the rapid shift in what is expected - by practitioners and public alike? What are the new norms?
