Homes that deliver for residents - curated by the Good Homes Alliance

12 May 2026
Buildings and Materials Stage

Organised by the Good Homes Alliance and chaired by GHA Programme Director Laura Broderick, this seminar will explore what it means in practice for homes to truly deliver for residents. Baily Garner, a multidisciplinary practice working across architecture, building surveying and housing consultancy, will share lessons from designing and delivering homes that prioritise long-term performance and resident outcomes. Stonewater, one of the UK’s leading social housing providers, will offer the client and landlord perspective, reflecting on what supports better comfort, health and value for residents over the life of a home. Sem Lee from OURI Labs will bring insights from research and co-design with residents. The session will examine how decisions made during briefing, delivery and handover shape lived experience, and how the sector can move beyond compliance to create homes that genuinely work for the people who live in them.
