Regenerative materials and fire safety: building confidence in low-carbon construction - curated by the ASBP
Chaired and organised by Simon Corbey, CEO of the Alliance for Sustainable Building Products, this seminar explores how regenerative and bio-based materials can be safely and confidently specified in low-carbon buildings. Dale Kinnersley, will bring insights from fire science, risk and insurance, drawing on his background in engineering and research. Seb Laan Lomas, architect at Architype, will share practical experience from delivering low-energy timber buildings, while Kelly Harrison, Director at structural and fire engineering consultancy Whitby Wood, will discuss structural design, compliance and assurance. Together, the panel will address common concerns around fire safety and outline practical routes to delivering safe, insurable and regenerative construction at scale.
