Regenerative practice and action - curated by UK Architects Declare

12 May 2026
Buildings and Materials Stage

What is regenerative design, and why do we need it? How can we shift our mindset toward more regenerative ways of thinking and doing? This session will introduce key areas of focus that help practices make meaningful mindset changes. We will explore practical examples of human-centred regenerative design and look at projects which have reconnected with local supply chains and vernacular approaches through nature led schemes. What worked, what didn’t and why - what can we learn from these experiences? Change is possible!
