Andy will provide an overview of the UK District Energy Association and the benefits and opportunities offered to members in the current political climate and energy transition. Andy has just been appointed to its CEO role having previously worked for one of the largest district energy operators in the world and a small energy company wholly owned by a Local Authority. Andy's operational experience is complimented by experience in central government working to deliver policy outcomes in collaboration with a range of different sector groups, from as diverse as medical devices, to pharmaceuticals to farming! Andy is keen to discuss the current market conditions, need for transition and the importance of the right mix of carrots, sticks and sermons for delivering change at pace!
