Business Development (BD) & Sales Support Engineer (S1)

Description​

Key Responsibilities of the role will be:
– Software Distribution
– Identify new business opportunities through lead generation and where the client can benefit from up selling and cross selling.
– Follow up with leads generated.
– Make outbound calls to customers using a mixture of warm and cold leads.
– Development of long-term relationships with our clients.
– Administer sales activities such as booking sales appointments, consultation meetings, updating CRM system, etc.
– Organizing and attending trade shows, exhibitions, webinars (travel within UK and abroad).
– Provide software technical support.
– Define & justify the requirement and features ofsoftware and technology demonstration models to advertise software capabilities and performance.
– Social media updates/admin.
– Consultancy Business Development.
– Support business development activities and identify new business opportunities through lead generation.
– Build marketing material including flyers, brochures, and online postings to be used to advertise the consulting business and build revenue.
– Define & justify the requirement and features of demonstration models and case studies to advertise the consulting business’ skills and capabilities.

The Successful candidate for the role will:
– Be a recent graduate with a STEM related degree, including a strong element of Business Studies, and/or marketing, business development and Sales.
– A desire to develop a career in Sales and progress within DOCAN.
– Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate at a multitude of levels.
– Be well organised and meticulous in nature.
– Strong IT skills, with experience of using Salesforce, Microsoft Teams preferred.
– Possess an ability to build relationships internally and externally with stakeholders.
