Technical Trainer – Heat Pumps

Test Engineer

Sunamp are looking to appoint an experienced and specialist Test Engineer for their rapidly growing
engineering team. The role will operate out of Greater Edinburgh and will assume responsibility for
testing, design, development, production and application integration of Sunamp’s existing products.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable with travelling to different sites if required and have
experience of working within plumbing, heating and electrics. You will a minimum of five years
experience working in an innovative product development environment, preferably within HVAC and engineering.

Stand out candidates will also have an understanding of Thermodynamics, Phase
Change Materials and their use for Heat Storage as well as experience of building and installing
Thermal Systems.

Warehouse Operative

To be a Warehouse Operator with us, you don’t need to have previous experience (although it would be a benefit). As someone who is eager to develop themselves and learn new skills, you’ll be given training to not only do the job but to succeed in it. When there is an opportunity to progress and you are ready, you’ll be encouraged to go for it.

If you have a fork lift licence or have worked in Warehousing/Manufacturing before, that’s great, although the main attributes you need to have are a strong work ethic and a good awareness of Health and Safety.

Welder

Joining our engineering maintenance team, you’ll be working on some of the largest pieces of kit and machinery you’ll find in the industry. You’ll be working from engineering drawings and be responsible for various welds & fabrications within the mill.

Our manufacturing processes are demanding and you will need to be robust and develop your knowledge to deal with a range of different problems and issues. You will have an apprenticeship in Welding and Fabrication (Minimum NVQ Level 3) and be competent with MIG, TIG, MMA, pipe welds and fabrication.

Yard Operator

From tipping lorries to inspecting Scrap metal you’ll cover all jobs in the Scrap Yard. It won’t be a boring day, you’ll also operate the weighbridge accurately and complete maintenance checks. Health and safety will be your number one priority in everything that you do, not only for yourself but also for the rest of the team.

You’ll have experience working in a Yard or a similar environment. It’ll be great if you have knowledge of Scrap metal but what’s important is that you’re keen to learn and have the ability to pick up new skills. There will be days when you will have to operate/drive machinery like excavators and fork lifts so you’ll need to have experience in this, too.
