Person Specification
Essential:
A degree in engineering, construction and/or project management discipline
or
minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical industrial M&E / MEICA setting project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.
– Strong understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems, construction practices, and industry standards in a commercial/district heating setting.
– Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation utilising MS project/ p6 or similar
– Proficient in budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis. Experience on NEC Suite of contracts
– Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing issues.
– Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams to achieve project goals.
– High level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all aspects of work.
– Proficient in Microsoft Office, project management software and other relevant IT tools.
Desirable:
– Knowledge of health & safety legislation
– SMSTS and/or IOSH Managing Safely
– Full UK driving license
