Futurebuild 2024 will put a spotlight on Lighting. This new area dedicated to architectural lighting will be the place for lighting suppliers to showcase their innovative lighting designs and technology to Futurebuild’s powerful specifier audience. The Lighting spotlight will be positioned alongside Interiors and Smart Buildings to cover the latest regulations, IoT and technologies such as lamps, bulbs, lumiere’s and smart lighting controls.
Lighting is a vital aspect of the design and construction process and demand is at its highest for smart buildings, with lighting and controls at the forefront.
Futurebuild is taking a stand for a better built environment and is urging companies and professionals throughout the construction supply chain to make a similar commitment by ‘taking a stand’ on an issue they passionately believe will help propel the industry towards a more sustainable future.
Everyone within the supply chain has a solution that can make a positive change.

In October, the government will start to invest £2 billion into domestic retrofit in just six months – the first public investment of note into retrofit in years and the start of a national retrofit project that will last thirty years. The appropriateness of the materials, products and technologies deployed will largely determine the success or failure of this bold initiative.
In this webinar, we examine what existing products and technologies get the thumbs up from leading retrofit architects. We also examine what pieces of the retrofit jigsaw are still needed.
Join a range of speakers from the Government and the sector who will talk about the current policy and plans for heat networks, including the new Green Heat Network Fund (GHNF) which is targeted at decarbonisation of planned or existing heat networks. The Project Director for Heat Networks from BEIS will be speaking on this webinar. You will also hear from a practitioner from the London Borough of Haringey about their plans to create an area-wide heat network across the borough using recovered heat.
