Angus Cunningham
Angus Cunningham is the Founder of Scotscape, an urban greening specialist dedicated to
reconnecting nature with the built environment. With over three decades in horticulture and
more than 15 years at the forefront of living walls and green infrastructure, Angus has built a
reputation for blending scientific rigour with creativity and deep practical knowledge.
Driven by a belief that plants are not decorative extras but vital urban infrastructure, Angus
champions solutions that deliver real environmental benefits from biodiversity and air quality
to wellbeing and placemaking.
He works closely with architects, researchers and local authorities to push the boundaries of
what green systems can achieve, often translating complex ecological ideas into practical,
buildable outcomes.
Curious by nature and collaborative by instinct, Angus is motivated by one simple idea: if we
work with plants properly, they will solve more problems than we ever imagined
