Anna is Head of Stakeholder Engagement for Energetik, Enfield’s energy company. In this role she had pioneered the importance of focussing on high levels of service to the customer to ensure they are “content” to receive Heating and Hot water through a heat network. But also to ensure engagement with all stakeholders. So property developers, solicitors, Councillors, Government, purchasers, renters and landlords know about and engage with Energetik.
As is a founder and director of Urban Life. She is a cross-sector regeneration specialist with a successful track record in delivering housing, green space improvement, renewable and low-CO2 energy solutions. Whilst with the London Borough of Lambeth, she led a multi-disciplinary estate renewal programme with a key emphasis on community engagement and enabling, before becoming a founder member of the Shoreditch New Deal for Communities in 2000. Anna has extensive experience in contracting and procurement negotiations, capital works management, and multi-disciplinary team leadership.
Since the foundation of Urban Life, Anna has focused on carbon reduction projects drawing on best practice across Europe. She has established a reputation for her commitment to finding practical solutions, and her determination to engage with academics, engineers, politicians, funders and residents alike. To date she has brought to market a retrofitted heat network replicable across urban areas and adopted by the London Development Agency. The project will deliver a significant reduction in fuel poverty and CO2 emissions. She is also a founder member of the Heat Trust, the mechanism for promoting consumer protections for customers on Heat Networks and is currently a Board Member.
