Anna Pagani
Anna Pagani is a Senior Lecturer at King’s College London and an Honorary Associate Professor at University College London.
Her research, teaching, and activism lie at the intersection of systems thinking, housing justice, and degrowth.
Anna has studied and worked in Italy, Spain, Switzerland, China, and the United Kingdom, focusing on housing systems that include, among others, the private sector, social housing, and housing cooperatives.
She is part of the Post-growth Planning Cluster at the UCL Bartlett School of Planning, the Postgrowth Cities Coalition, and various think tanks and organisations focused on the built environment, including The Edge.
In December 2025, she contributed to the drafting and launch of the “Housing (for) a post-growth world: a Manifesto,” currently translated into different languages.
