Chaline has worked in design, marketing, licensing and merchandising for global brands, B2C, B2B and B2G across 22 countries, including the financial, leisure, charity and retail sectors for over 25 years. She has won multiple awards for digital, print and interiors architecture projects, and has spearheaded hundreds of world-first products and projects, before co-founding health clinics, and most recently 540 WORLD, a London-based circular materials consultancy. Chaline combined health and design in her multiple award-winning MA Interiors Architecture, with a focus on optimising human health through materials, architecture and interior arrangements. She champions change, from our linear economy legacy to evidence-based, healthy, circular design in infrastructure, commercial and residential projects, particularly in the built environment using Cradle to Cradle (C2C)® principles. Her current focus is to deliver a world-first, circular-chemist AI companion to expedite manufacturers and influencers in the built environment inventory, screen and develop non-toxic products at pace, through stacking multiple expertise, chemistry and product knowledge against world-class product innovation frameworks. Other recent projects include the UK’s first C2C Certified® multi-materials retrofit, material swaps for a global tech company’s HQ, several coastal developments, the world’s first C2C Certified® Accoya® fenders in the Thames, enabling clients create positive-impact, harm-free spaces.
