Charlie Martin is CEO of The Anti-Greenwash Charter, an independent, not-for-profit initiative helping organisations communicate their environmental and sustainability work with clarity and credibility. With a background in marketing and communications, Charlie has spent over a decade working with organisations that want to act responsibly but often struggle to make confident claims without risking greenwashing or greenhushing.

Charlie founded The Anti-Greenwash Charter to address this challenge, providing a clear framework for responsible communication through Green Claims Policies, structured reviews, and ongoing support. The Charter works with consultants, manufacturers, contractors, and service providers across the built environment to reduce risk, improve decision-making, and build trust with stakeholders.

Alongside this work, Charlie leads truMRK, a verification service that helps organisations substantiate claims with evidence and transparency, and hosts The Responsible Edge podcast, where he speaks with business leaders and practitioners about ethics, leadership, and responsible growth.
