Chloe Bullock
Chloe Bullock is the founder of Materialise Interiors, B Corp certified interior design company, started in 2005. She is a Director of the British Institute of Interior Design (BIID), having served a full term on the Sustainability Committee and been a member for 13 years.
She recently took part in the first cohort for the Department of Education ‘Skills Bootcamp in Circular Economy’ pilot and is Circular Economy Institute accredited - Trained level. She has studied Regenerative Design and is Living Future Accredited (Living Building Challenge).
She was awarded the British Institute of Interior Design’s Merit Award 2025 for services to the interior design profession. Named as PETA’s Compassionate Designer in their Vegan Homeware Awards.
Chloe was commissioned by RIBA to write 'Sustainable Interior Design'. The book covers the eleven approaches, using 41 examples of projects + products from around the World.
Chloe is a founder of Interior Design Declares - a network of practices, suppliers of goods & services to the industry and educational establishments committed to addressing the climate and biodiversity emergency. She’s a co-founder of the International Vegan Interior Design Association (IVIDA)
With over 30 years experience of the design industry and most of that time in sustainability, Chloe works for clients, architects and interior designers helping with circular and regenerative design solutions, sourcing and materials and running businesses ethically.
