Dan Cole
Dan started working at Webb Yates 2017, after gaining his master’s in engineering at the University of Bath. He has worked across a broad range of projects, from residential refurbishments to complex infrastructure, alongside playing a key role in the practice’s research and built work exploring the structural use of stone. He has a hands-on approach to tackling new and technically demanding challenges, and his work with stone reconsiders it as a contemporary construction material, spanning loadbearing elements, prestressed systems, and experimental forms.
A technically rigorous engineer and excellent problem solver, he works collaboratively with everyone involved in his projects to ensure elegant, sustainable, and efficient structural solutions. He also leads our Digital Group; an internal taskforce aimed at advancing computational knowledge and tools within the company.
