Edward Bishop
Edward Bishop is a photographer and filmmaker specialising in architecture and design. His practice focuses on making visible the human presence within the built environment and examining how this interaction shapes a sense of place.
Working across film and photography, he adopts a calm, considered documentary approach, placing people at the centre of his narratives. His work seeks to balance formal clarity with lived experience, highlighting how buildings are inhabited, used, and understood.
He has produced films and photographic projects for leading architects and designers, including Hawkins\Brown, EPR, Mole Architects, FCBStudios, David Chipperfield Architects and Sou Fujimoto.
His work has been featured by publications and platforms such as Dezeen, Architects’ Journal, Creative Review, The Guardian, and The Observer. His films have been screened at international festivals and have received critical recognition, including Official Selection award (Better Cities Film Festival) and shortlisting for Best Use of Video (Archiboo Awards).
