Gilles Alvarenga

WLC & Circular Economy Lead , Cundall

Gilles is a fully qualified international architect and urban designer, equivalent to RIBA Part III, Chartered Environmentalist, and the leader of Cundall’s Whole Life Carbon and Circular Economy team. With over 15 years of expertise in net zero carbon developments and regenerative design, he has contributed to carbon neutral projects both nationally and internationally. Gilles has lectured at prestigious universities, events, and local authorities, sharing his insights on Net Zero developments and sustainable design in both the UK and abroad.
He has a holistic approach, allowing him to manage energy and sustainability aspirations of projects and project teams, while maximising the potential positive environmental and economic aspects of a project. Often this has led to a significant improvement over the regulatory and client requirements.
