Project Specification Manager , Saint Gobain

As part of the Saint-Gobain retrofit sector team, Gizem draws on a background in environmental engineering and the WELL Building Standard to provide technical guidance and specification support to architects, interior designers, and contractors. Gizem's work focuses on the delivery of design-led, sustainable solutions that enhance building performance, health, and occupant wellbeing.

Gizem also serves as a volunteer community engagement director at the Collective for Climate Action CIC - the UK’s largest cross-public-sector climate network - and facilitates climate education workshops through Climate Fresk and Construction Collage. These experiences inform her approach to the sector’s decarbonisation challenges, specifically the requirement for strategic, data-driven approaches to retrofit and the importance of cross-disciplinary collaboration.
