Dr Hafiz Elhag is Sustainability Manager (Concrete Products) at the Mineral Products Association (MPA). Hafiz oversees the UK’s precast concrete and masonry sectors’ sustainability strategy and supports several sector embodied carbon, Environmental Product Declarations (EPD), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and products‘ responsible sourcing initiatives. Hafiz also manages the MPA Precast & Masonry Sustainability Charter scheme, an independently audited sector scheme which covers 70% of precast and concrete block manufacturers in Great Britain & NI.
