LCD Consulting

Jethro Coups is a life-cycle assessment consultant with 6 years of LCA experience, specialising in LCA, Net Zero and Circular Economy reporting. Jethro spent the first three years of his career working in an architecture studio in Cambridge after completing his Bachelor's degree in Architecture and Design, transitioning to sustainability focused design and reporting within the built environment for various large-scale building typologies such as warehouses, schools, residential masterplans and storage facilities. Jethro has also worked in sustainable school design, working with the governments’ 'Condition Improvement Fund’ project. This scheme provided financial support for UK schools to repair and rebuild their dilapidated buildings, creating more open, modern and sustainable environments for future students to learn in. Jethro has also worked in architectural surveying, analysing adaptable industrial, residential, heritage and grade-listed buildings to assist in the utilisation of sustainable design principles, using 3D laser scanning technologies. This promotes the use of existing structures and adaptability of existing sites by capturing spaces in very high detail, therefore reducing the need for additional raw materials in the built environment.
