Jon Moorhouse
Constructive Thinking have been retrofit sector leaders and innovators for almost 20 years. As Director of Research and thence CEO, Jon has been a key proponent in architect-driven retrofit with particular interests in decarbonisation at scale, net zero neighbourhoods and off-site manufacture. Through Constructive Thinking’s Innovation Lab – SITIO – Jon has developed housing categorisation and archetyping systems for large stock data sets. This approach catalyses the transition from stand-alone retrofit to decarbonisation being at the heart of planned works as part of a long-term strategy that takes into account MEES, 2030 EPC Targets and the Future Homes Standards.
Constructive Thinking have offices in Liverpool, Madrid and London, and Jon is currently completing his Professional Doctorate in the Sustainable Built Environment at Cardiff Metropolitan University.
