CEO, The Music Diet
Dr Julia Jones has spent the past 25 years studying the effects of music on human behaviour and prescribing music to drive emotional engagement and wellbeing in elite sport, the corporate arena and the built environment. Her book 'The Music Diet' gives individuals and businesses clear guidance on how to harness the power of music and reap health rewards. She is on a mission to transform wellbeing, combat work-related stress and reduce the risk of developing dementia in later life through functional use of music. As part of this work Julia created Music At Work Week (25 Nov - 1 Dec 2019) to help promote the scientifically recognised benefits of music and encourage employers to embed it in their workplaces. Music At Work Week and The Music Diet is endorsed by the UK music industry.
