Kim Gault
I work at the intersection of materials, carbon, and the lived experience of buildings, helping project teams make decisions that are evidence‑based, practical, and aligned with a lower‑carbon future. With a background spanning architecture, conservation, and hands‑on restoration, I bring both technical rigour and a grounded understanding of how buildings are actually made, adapted, and used.
My work focuses on whole life carbon, circularity, and material impacts, supporting clients and design teams to reduce emissions without compromising performance or intent. I’ve contributed to industry guidance, including the latest RICS Professional Statement v2 update, and I’m regularly invited to speak on circular economy approaches and material reuse. Championing embodied carbon literacy and practical circularity across the sector is a core part of what I do.
