Laura Morgan Forster
Laura is Innovation Lead on heat and buildings at Innovate UK. She has supported grant-funded projects within the Net Zero Heat programme, with a strong focus on the use of data to support robust decision-making and the best outcomes in refurbishments for decarbonisation. Laura is also working with product manufacturers of innovative heat decarbonisation technology to increase their uptake in government-backed retrofit programmes, as well as demand elsewhere, through inclusion in retrofit models and processes.
After time with the Building Performance Network, Laura has a keen interest in building performance evaluation. Her previous experience with the Good Homes Alliance and Sustainable Traditional Buildings Alliance has given her appreciation of the challenges and massive benefits of improving the sustainability of our built environment, not least creating buildings that support good health and thriving individuals and communities.
