Cities and Regions Lead , Doughnut Economics Action Lab (DEAL)

Leonora is the Cities & Regions Lead at the Doughnut Economics Action Lab (DEAL), co-founded by Doughnut Economics author Kate Raworth. DEAL is an organisation supporting practitioners working with the Doughnut across sectors, and Leonora supports the work of over 60 local and regional governments that have been using Doughnut Economics in their policies, strategies and processes globally. Leonora is an urban planner, researcher and participation practitioner, holding a PhD in Urbanism. Previously, Leonora has worked as an urban planning consultant for UN-Habitat, a city leadership associate at University College London, a community engagement consultant for planning projects in the UK, and as a civic activist in her home country Macedonia.
