Head of Sustainability and Associate Director , ECDA

Loreana Padron is Head of Sustainability and Associate Director at ECD Architects. An RIBA Chartered Architect with a Master’s degree in Sustainable Design, she is also a Certified Passivhaus Designer, Retrofit Coordinator/Designer, and AECB Standard Certifier.
Loreana has a special interest in retrofit, research, building performance and post-occupancy evaluation, and has contributed to the field as Editorial Director of the Retrofit Academy’s Retrofit Designer course, as well as with various publications such as the LETI Climate Emergency Retrofit Guide.
Loreana was recognised as 'Life Fellow' by the Retrofit Academy and was shortlisted for the AJ100 ‘Sustainability Leader of the Year (2024)’. Additionally, she shares her expertise as a judge for various awards such as the RIBA Awards, AT Awards, LCA Awards and CIBSE's ‘SFE Façade, Design and Engineering Awards.’
