Matt joined clean energy tech company, Aira in May 2023 as UK Service Operations Director before stepping into the UK Managing Director role in October 2025. Matt leads the UK business, helping people across the country reduce energy bills and carbon emissions by switching from fossil fuel heating to intelligent heat pumps, solar panels and battery storage.

Prior to Aira, Matt spent 22 years at British Gas where he was heavily involved in the world of heat pumps, firstly in the social housing market and then part of the founding team of British Gas Zero.
