Miles heads up sustainability across Clarion Housing Group and is responsible for co-creating and delivering the Group sustainability strategy and targets for the UK’s largest housing association. This includes the establishment of the organisation’s strategic approaches to reach Net Zero Carbon, enabling the recovery of nature and building resilience to climate-related risks.

Miles is also a Trustee of the UK Green Building Council, working closely with the Board and senior management team to deliver against the organisation's mission to radically transform the sustainability of the built environment.

Prior to Clarion, Miles was Head of Sustainability at Lendlease, responsible for supporting the Development and Investment Management businesses in Europe, supporting the multi-billion-pound pipeline of major urban regeneration projects to develop their long-term sustainability strategies, as well as authoring the Lendlease Europe Roadmap to Absolute Zero Carbon.
