Nigel McKay has had a long career working for some of the most prestigious blue chip companies in the UK Oil, Gas and Construction industries and has led the procurement teams at four of those companies across UK, Europe and the Middle East.
Since leaving HS2 and creating his own company, Nigel has secured work for a number of companies such as BRE, Kier, Carillion, Balfour Beatty, Achilles, Quintain, Lend Lease, Cundall, Translink, ASGC, Tarmac, Thales and Buildoffsite

He is also one of the 6 original founding members of the award-winning Supply Chain Sustainability School
Sat on the CITB Be-Fair development team to develop a new Fairness, Inclusion and Respect standard for the Industry
A regular guest lecturer at the Sheffield Business School, where he presented on Global Supply Chains as part of their MSC programme
Nigel has a diverse range of job descriptions and has been used by many companies as an Industry Advisor in Construction, Housing, Rail, Civils and Infrastructure sectors once he left full time employment in 2015.
Nigel has extensive Modular experience, firstly as the Head of Procurement for Allenby Connaught which built modular housing for 10,000 Junior Ranks for the MoD
As Head of Procurement for Lend Lease during the period when they were delivering the MoD Prime Contracting Framework for Modular Housing across the whole of the UK and also delivering a number of Modular Blocks for Student Accommodation and a range of facilities for the MoJ across England. Lend Lease at the time were also the Global Partner for BP to replace all petrol retail parks across the globe using Modular Building Techniques from the Oil and Gas Environment. Lend Lease were also the Partner for MacDonald’s and JCP to redevelop all existing facilities maximising the use of Modularisation and Sub-Assemblies, to maximise the construction productivity on site.
He is currently the Chair of the Buildoffsite, Water, Rail and Transport Hubs
