Dr. Pete Armstrong is the CEO / CTO and co-founder of Mixergy, a smart hot water cylinder technology transforming energy-efficient water heating. Pete completed his PhD on intelligent hot water cylinders at Oxford Uni with fellow student and co-founder Ren Kang, where they developed the technology. Their vision was to make a network of smart hot water cylinders that would add flexibility to the grid, making room for more renewable energy and driving the clean energy transition forward.
