Peter McColm is Managing Director of Szerelmey Ltd, having joined the company in 2012 as a Senior Contracts Manager. He has over thirty years of experience in the construction industry with a background in engineering. After completing his B. Eng Hons in Civil Engineering he started his career in this field with Laing O Rourke, moving rapidly through the ranks and continuing this with Vetter UK and Tino Stone Group SA, where he delivered One Hyde Park and the Bulgari Hotel. Peter has been leading Szerelmey for the past four years, and during that time has focused on creating a sustainable business across all areas. His drive for sustainability includes internal operational practices and the delivery of projects in a better, greener way – this extends to a focus on loadbearing and post tensioned stone and the reduction of unnecessary steel and concrete where possible.
