Rachel Brisley
Rachel Brisley is a Senior Director and Head of Planning and Place at Ipsos, Public Affairs. She has over 30 years’ professional experience across the private, public and voluntary sectors with a particular focus on environmental sustainability, planning and regeneration research and delivery. Rachel has worked for a range of public sector clients in the UK and internationally including the European Commission, internal financial institutions such as the World Bank and the European Investment Bank, UK government departments (MHCLG, DESNZ, Defra, DBT, HMRC) and devolved administrations, national agencies and local authorities. She has particular expertise in policy analysis, research and evaluation and has a national and international track record in climate resilience having contributed to the last three UK Climate Change Risk Assessments and delivered transport infrastructure resilience capacity building support to member states in Eastern Europe. Rachel is Ipsos’ climate spokesperson and is an experienced commentator and speaker having presented at party conferences, round tables and panels.
