Rebecca Jak

Rebecca Jak is an architectural researcher whose work explores the life and use of materials, emphasising reuse, circularity, and insights drawn from cross-disciplinary collaboration. She frames these approaches as essential strategies for challenging extractive, growth-driven models, and considers sustainability not only as a technical solution but as a cultural project shaping how we value and inhabit the built environment.
Jak has worked at leading architectural practices Lynch Architects and Eric Parry Architects, where she contributed to several major projects. These include Landsec’s n3 development, working closely on the restoration and integration of the heritage-listed stone façade of Sutton House, as well as the landmark 1 Undershaft tower in the City of London, one of the tallest and most significant planned additions to the capital’s skyline.
