Richard is a co-founder of Don’t Waste Buildings, the unfunded voluntary campaign to make the reuse of existing buildings simpler and more profitable by pressuring governments to adopt ‘retrofit first’ policies along with financial incentives favouring reuse. Richard is also founder & MD of ABYSS, helping built environment companies work globally, an ambassador/past chair of the IoD Property & Built Environment Group, Property & Construction Ambassador of Breast Cancer Now, and a member of the Urban Land Institute.
