Simon is a seasoned professional in the domestic energy assessment industry with over a decade of experience. He began his career as a Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) and progressed to an Area Manager, where he recruited and trained a team of DEAs across the Midlands and worked with major energy providers to complete Energy Performance Certificate and technical surveys for installating insulation.
In 2018, he joined Elmhurst as a Technical Consultant & Trainer and spearheaded the development of a training program for DEAs to deliver retrofit assessments to the PAS 2035 standard. Currently, he leads Elmhurst’s Retrofit team and provides technical support to over 1,300 accredited Retrofit Assessors and Coordinators.
