As Principal Heat Network Zoning Officer at the Midlands Net Zero Hub, I lead strategic engagement and coordination efforts to support local authorities across the Midlands in progressing their heat network ambitions. My work sits at the intersection of policy, planning, and delivery — helping councils navigate zoning regulations, understand evolving funding opportunities, and develop projects aligned with national decarbonisation goals.

With a background in renewable energy engineering and hands-on experience supporting local authorities from early-stage feasibility to funding bids, I act as the regional lead for all things heat network related. I’ve built strong partnerships with combined authorities, local councils, national stakeholders, and delivery partners to ensure that heat network zoning is not just a policy ambition, but a local delivery reality.
