At Futurebuild 2022 Worcester Bosch will showcase its award-winning hydrogen-ready boiler prototype. This boiler is very similar to natural gas predecessors — it is constructed and functions in a similar way. The boiler can run on natural gas until the day that hydrogen becomes available, saving costs all round. This also means that homeowners can future proof their homes for when any switch over to hydrogen occurs.

C-Probe Group

C-Probe Systems produces smart, low carbon alkali-activated cementitious materials (AACMs) for the repair, protection, and monitoring of structural corrosion in the built environment. It develops sustainable corrosion management systems that reduce the need for structural maintenance by pre-empting the development of problems caused by corrosion, chemical attack, fire and environmental damage.

C-Probe’s latest innovation, which will be revealed at Futurebuild 2022, is the LoCem® Modular Anode Unit (MAU). As opposed to restoring existing infrastructure, the MAU is used at the initial construction stage to provide long-term resilience and control over corrosion.

Huawei’s LUNA2000 Smart String Energy Storage System is an energy storage solution for utility-scale solar power plants, industrial and commercial campuses and PV and energy storage scenarios.

The system features an innovative high-voltage DC architecture allows the energy storage system to comply with multiple platforms, a built-in energy optimiser that increases charge and discharge capacity by ten per cent and a grid-tied, off-grid switching mode that provides emergency back up power in three seconds.

In addition to being more sustainable to produce than traditional hardwood, Accoya is anti-fungus and anti-mildew and does not require sanding or coating, which can be a drain on resources. Another innovation 540 WORLD will showcase is Graphenstone paint, which absorbs carbon dioxide and does not offgas any toxins.
