Innovation Partners

Meet our innovation partners, the built environment brands who are really leading the way and will be destinations on the Innovation Trail at Futurebuild 2020...

There’s no question that in order to create an industry that is not only fit for the future, but also fit for purpose now, we need to change and adapt the way we approach everything across the built environment. We understand that change comes with its own challenges, be they legislative or a simple unwillingness to approach something differently. This is why, at Futurebuild, we’re so passionate about innovation. Innovation to us doesn’t just mean futuristic technology, the innovation which sits at the heart of Futurebuild brings together the latest technological advances with improvements to processes and sustainable solutions to make a real difference to the future of the built environment and deliver improved results.

  • We recognise that the construction industry is shifting towards more cost-effective, efficient, and environmentally friendly solutions; this inspires us to be more innovative in the way we conduct our global business. Investing in innovation in vital for our business. For example, our Centre for Technology and Innovation in Switzerland houses a state-of-the-art research laboratory which gives the CEMEX community access to a broad range of investigation tools and novel in-house testing methods. The Futurebuild Innovation Partnership complements our strategic direction and gives us a platform to showcase our products in a key market. The unique nature of the partnership means that we can connect directly with relevant visitors – giving them access to our latest technologies and innovations.
    David Elston
Events and Marketing Manager at CEMEX
  • Geberit has a long history of innovation. From creating the first concealed cistern in 1964 to bringing shower technology to the European market, we’ve been at the forefront of bathroom innovation for more than 140 years. Being a partner at Futurebuild not only helps us to reach an audience who share this passion for innovation, but also gives us the perfect opportunity to share with visitors just what acoustic benefits can be achieved with the right combination of behind-the-wall technology and front-of-wall products.
    Sophie Weston
Channel Marketing Manager for Specification at Geberit
  • At Hadley Group, innovation is at the core of everything we do. We have a range of patented processes and products such as UltraBOSS™ and UltraSTEEL®, however our innovation doesn’t end there. We encourage our employees to think differently, in order to continuously improve everything we do. Being an Innovation Partner at Futurebuild provides us with a platform to maximise our reach when it comes to ensuring the appropriate stakeholders are aware of our services and products. It also allows us to share ideas and solutions which ultimately lead to further success and ground-breaking achievements within the built environment.
    Dan Martin
Director of Marketing at Hadley Group
  • At Internorm, we’re continually improving and developing our product ranges to provide our customers with the latest technology and innovative designs. Being an Innovation Partner at Futurebuild gives us the opportunity to elevate these innovations to our customer base at the 2020 event. On stand, visitors can expect to see our market-leading new developments in action, from security and light control, to heat control, and ventilation. We’re particularly excited to share our collaboration with Loxone, Smart Home Technology.
    Sara Jeffries

  • We exhibit all over the world and always get good footfall but we chose to launch our healthy buildings campaign at Futurebuild in the UK last year. It was hugely engaging and generated some high calibre sales leads. So we’re delighted to be invited to return as an Innovation Partner at Futurebuild 2020. When you’re on a mission to mainstream healthy buildings, Futurebuild helps us reach audiences which are interested in how to create environments which enhance both our physical and mental health. The problem with some exhibitions is that they can overwhelm visitors and they leave with more questions than answers. Futurebuild’s Innovation Trail is perfect to both structure and showcase all the products and developments from across the whole industry. It’s a shining example of how the whole industry is collaborating to drive innovation and bring about a sea change in building healthy, natural and sustainable environments.
    Craig Colligan
National Sales Manager at Steico UK
  • The challenges that face our built environment are increasing, as are the demands we make of our buildings, infrastructure and supply chain. Concrete, the material and industry, is part of the innovation and new technology needed to address the challenges faced by society and we are delighted to be a Futurebuild Innovation Partner. Our Concrete Futures feature is a mix of physical exhibits and video that showcases how concrete is evolving and innovating to deliver a sustainable, net zero carbon built environment now and for future generations. We look forward to being part of the Futurebuild Innovation Trail and seeing everyone at Futurebuild 2020.
    Claire Ackerman
    Director at The Concrete Centre
  • We are proud to be part of an innovative, future-focused exhibition which specialises in the contract market place. Through our involvement last year, we were impressed with the broad range of exhibitors and innovative organisations. Innovation enables us to keep ahead in the market, through our offer of the most up-to-date finishes and products.
    Anke Treffkorn
    Director at Kochwerk
  • We believe Futurebuild Innovation Partnerships support and encourage innovation across the built environment, especially where we have some of the most defining innovations with Cradle to Cradle® design and implementation. The partnership is the perfect vehicle for collaborators and attendees alike, to learn more about the way Cradle to Cradle® design affects circular economy strategies, in the built environment. “We’re excited by the opportunity that being an Innovation Partner with Futurebuild brings, especially in terms of exploring new avenues for collaboration.
